As China’s synthetic fiber industry enters a new normal, the previously extensive development model—relying heavily on resource inputs and scale expansion—is becoming unsustainable. Therefore, accelerating the development of intelligent manufacturing in the synthetic fiber sector is of great significance for promoting supply-side structural reform in China’s synthetic fiber industry, driving the manufacturing of synthetic fibers toward the mid- to high-end, and ultimately achieving the goal of becoming a global powerhouse in synthetic fibers.
